You really can't hit a dead end, and so long as you do upgrades, you make progress. This is probably why it doesn't cost anything to recruit. Work a group back up running level 1 quests, and use the cash to treat the ones you don't dismiss. You don't need a full party to do adventures.ĭismiss some, and recruit from the caravan. Since there's no skip turn or wait function in this game like there is in any other strategy game, I'm left to wonder what exactly I'm supposed to do. Whoever I send into that dungeon will die, and I'll lose money as well. So here's the deal: I can't get anyone from the stagecoach because I already have. Every failed venture drains money from my pool. I'd tag the dev if tagging was even an option on the Steam forums because it looks like my only option is to kill seven people in order to actually progress in the game. Their afflictions, be it masochism, fearful, or selfish, cause everyone else in the dungeon to freak out.

Food consumption is raised to the point where every 2 rooms they have to stop for food. All of my heroes are either indisposed of in the tavern or abbey, or are too stressed out to make it even halfway through a dungeon. I'm gonna necro this thread just because I've run into a wall here. Honestly, I consider a full-on torchless tutorial build-up to the guild harder than I do some of Darkest Dungeon, at least in terms of achieving it with satisfactory results (profit, trinkets, stress efficiency, magically bypassing Reys Klepto checks in the first dungeon by opening curios at that PRECISE moment where you can get there before.
